Grace Mary Wristbridge (Gay or Gracie) passed into eternal salvation on June 27, 2026 at age 67. Gracie was born and raised in Pennsauken. She will undoubtedly be placed on the express train into heaven, having suffered from schizophrenia her entire adult life. In spite of her mental disability she taught herself to play every song in Bob Dylan’s play list on both guitar and piano. She was extremely intelligent, but as we Irish would say, “just a little touched”. Gay was the fifth of eight children born to Jack and Mary Wristbridge (nee Singer). Gracie is predeceased by her parents, brother Frank and sister Helen. Surviving family members include her brothers John (Lorraine),Donald (Patricia),Matthew (Monica)and Peter (Sharon) and her sister Mary Buhrer (Dean). Also many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. All of her siblings and parents have spent 50 years spoiling Gracie to the point that anyone’s appearance for a visit would immediately prompt her to request a soda or some candy, or maybe a few bucks.

A special thank you to Our Ladies Residence staff for allowing our sister to live as full a life as possible given her limitations. You have been a blessing to our family.

A viewing will be held on Friday July 3, 2026 at St Vincent De Paul Church, 5021 Harding Highway, Mays Landing from 10-11 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am.

The entombment will be private.
