Obituary For Antoinette “Ann” Terese Isgro

Antoinette “Ann” Terese Isgro, 66, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 25, 2026, surrounded by her immediate family at her bedside. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, strength, kindness, and unwavering love.

Ann was the beloved wife of Ernest Isgro with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories and enduring love. Ann and Ernie's love story began during their senior year of college when Ann would visit Ernie at Lycoming College. From the moment they met they knew they had found something special. Two years later they were married and ready to begin a lifetime together. They moved from Pennsylvania to start their next adventure in New Jersey, where they created a loving home and were blessed with four wonderful children.

Ann was an incredibly devoted mother to her four children - Ernest, Anthony, Michael, and Maria - who were the pride and joy of her life. She was always there for them, never missing a milestone, celebration, or moment that mattered. Her boundless love and positive encouragement shaped their lives and she was their biggest supporter in everything they did. She was also a loving mother-in-law to Meghan and Leonela, whom she welcomed into her family with warmth. Ann found her greatest happiness in being a Mommom. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren - Mia, Peighton, Everett, Gianna, and Cooper (“grand pup”). Their laughter, smiles, hugs, and love gave her great fulfillment and happiness.

Known for her caring heart and generous spirit, Ann touched the lives of many family members, friends, and neighbors. Her love for her family was clearly evident in everything she did and her memory will continue to live on through the countless lives that she influenced with her endless warmth and grace. She was actively involved in her community where she taught CCD religious classes for over a decade. Outside of that instruction, she also cared for (and served) many children in two school districts as a kitchen manager for more than thirty years. She loved to cook! Being able to feed family and friends at home, as well as all the students at her job, truly gave her the ultimate happiness, satisfaction, and pride.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes great comfort in all the memories they shared and the love she leaves behind. Her legacy of family, love and compassion will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Ann is predeceased by her parents Mary and Charles Dykes, her sister Mary Bernadette Ott (Tom), and her brother James.

She is survived by her husband Ernest, son Ernie, son Anthony (Leonela) grandchildren Mia and Gianna, son Michael (Meghan) grandchildren Peighton and Everett, daughter Maria. Also, her brothers Charles (Tina), Mark (Donna), and Kevin, in addition to her sisters Clare Hilbig and Suzanne Dykes, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends who have become family.

Antoinette Terese Isgro will forever be remembered and dearly missed. May her memory be a blessing.
