When three friends of almost 25 years come together to create a true dream of a special event center, banquet facility and restaurant, you get the new creation of the Provenza Restaurant Event Center.
Partners Juan Garcia, Maurcio Baquero and Diego Amaya each brings unique expertise to the table to offer an experience like no other at the Jersey Shore.
Juan is the front-of-the-house onsite managing partner. Maurico (DJ Sammy) is the partner who is well known in the entertainment industry. Diego has extensive experience in the restaurant industry from the casinos.
The partners, who are originally from Colombia, have long had a dream to own their own state-of-the-art restaurant that offers something for everyone.
The official opening was June 29, 2023. They are open for breakfast, offering a wide variety of omelets and various delicious specialty items which are not found in many locations.
If you are looking for a wide selection of lunch items, Provenza is the place to have a relaxing meal in a nice comfortable setting. You can choose from an extensive selection of gourmet burgers, salads, tacos, and many other items.
Provenza for dinner is a real treat. The ambiance is set in the romantic dining area, which seats up to 130 people, or you can eat more casually in the intimate smaller dining area.
“The food is a unique blend of an American Latino cuisine with special recipes,” Juan says.
You will have a hard time choosing your meal from all the delicious appetizers and entrees. The entrees are highlighted by tasty beef short ribs; thick, cooked-to-order pork chops, and enormous 44-ounce tomahawk steaks.
The new Prevenza is also the perfect place for your next event. It is a venue for sweet 16s, banquets, weddings, corporate events, bridal showers, after viewings and all private events.
Located at 5001 Wellington Ave. in Ventnor City, it is a convenient location at the newly renovated Ventnor Plaza. There is plenty of parking and the location highlighted by relaxing sunset views.
Stay tuned for next year when the plans are to offer a larger banquet room which will accommodate up to 300 people.
The hours are seven-days-per-week breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday-Friday lunch 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and dinner daily from 4 to 10 p.m.
