Something new is in a familiar spot on the Ocean City Boardwalk. While the rides will remain closed this summer, the site is getting a fresh update. A brand-new arcade and Ocean City Pizza has opened at Sixth Street and Boardwalk —bringing life back to the property while long-term plans for a luxury hotel continue. Owner Eustace Mita says it’s all about avoiding an empty “black hole” on the Boardwalk and giving the site a new identity for the summer season.
