The 2026 Miss Night in Venice Queen and her court were crowned Monday evening during a ceremony at the Ocean City Tabernacle, recognizing six young women for their fundraising efforts benefiting local nonprofit organizations.
Nadia Marzano was crowned the 2026 Miss Night in Venice Queen. April Wright was named first runner-up, and Madison Specht earned the title of second runner-up.
Unlike a traditional pageant, the Miss Night in Venice program is a charitable fundraising competition. Contestants spend weeks raising money for nonprofit organizations throughout the Ocean City community, with the winners determined solely by the amount of funds they collect during the campaign.
This year’s six contestants collectively supported 14 local nonprofit organizations, highlighting the event’s mission of giving back while promoting one of Ocean City’s signature summer traditions.
During Monday’s ceremony, each contestant was introduced to an audience of family members, friends and representatives from the participating charities. The contestants shared information about the organizations they supported and reflected on their fundraising experiences throughout the campaign.
The annual program provides participants with an opportunity to develop leadership skills, strengthen community connections and raise awareness for the work of local charitable organizations. Over the years, the competition has generated thousands of dollars to support community programs and services in Ocean City.
Although one contestant is crowned queen and two are named to the court, all six participants are recognized for their commitment to community service and charitable giving.
Marzano, Wright and Specht will represent the program during Ocean City’s 71st annual Night in Venice celebration on Saturday, July 25. They will be joined by fellow contestants Noley Schenck, Bridget Towers and Araalene Sanchez aboard a yacht in the annual boat parade.
Night in Venice is one of Ocean City’s longest-running traditions, drawing thousands of spectators to the bayfront each summer. The event features elaborately decorated boats, waterfront home displays and a fireworks finale. This year’s theme, “Stars, Stripes & Christmas Lights,” celebrates both America’s 250th anniversary and the popular Christmas in July tradition.
