It was a full day of surf, sand, and smiles as the Margate Business Association held its annual Beachstock event along Huntington Avenue Beach, behind Margate Library, on Sunday, June 28. Thousands enjoyed a plethora of activities, including a full day of live music, food vendors, entertainment, surfing, cornhole, volleyball tournaments, and more. Even the Phillie Phanatic himself made a special visit, greeting troves of beachgoers.

The festivities also included the 5th Annual Pineapple Classic Surf Tournament, hosted by Jetty Apparel and local professional surfer Ben Gravy. Dozens of area surfers took to the ocean for a day of gnarly waves, all to benefit the Jetty Rock Foundation. Since its inception, the organization has raised more than $2 million to protect our local coastal oceans and waterways while supporting all who build their lives around them.
