Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and Chef & Restaurateur Michael Schulson have jointly announced that Izakaya will close on January 1, 2024. The restaurant has been a celebrated pillar of the hotel’s food and beverage program for the past 15 years.
The closure is a strategic move that aligns with the evolving goals of both Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and Chef Michael Schulson. Anthony Caratozzolo, Vice President of Hospitality at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, expressed deep appreciation for the partnership, stating, “Izakaya has been a longtime favorite among our guests, and we thank Michael for his dedication to the restaurant over the years. We wish him success in what’s next in the Schulson Collective’s culinary journey.”
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will be introducing a new culinary concept in this space in 2024. Details will be available in the coming months.
