In celebration of International Women’s Month, members of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City’s Women in Leadership program visited MudGirls Studios to show their support of the organization and presented a $5,000 donation on behalf of the Boardwalk 1000 Foundation to help advance the nonprofit’s mission to provide opportunities in art and entrepreneurship to economically disadvantaged and at-risk women.
MudGirls Studios provides training and skills to transition women out of poverty and onto a pathway of self-sufficiency. Through the creation and sale of functional art and aesthetic utilitarian objects women will gain a source of long-term supplemental income
Hard Rock’s Women in Leadership program works to increase representation of women in leadership roles through education, mentorship and networking opportunities throughout the enterprise.
