What began in an Atlantic City garage more than 70 years ago has grown into one of South Jersey’s largest commercial printing, marketing and fulfillment companies.
Omega High-Impact Print Solutions, headquartered at 6726 Delilah Road in Egg Harbor Township, marked its latest milestone July 20 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new 24,000-square-foot warehouse and fulfillment center.
The company’s roots date to 1952, when Lou Barone founded Print Art Inc. as a commercial printing and graphic design business operating from a garage in Atlantic City. Just two years later, the company outgrew its original space and relocated to larger facilities. During the 1980s, Barone built the Egg Harbor Township printing plant that helped establish Print Art as one of South Jersey’s leading commercial printers.
Carl Blase Sr. joined the company as a pressman in the late 1980s, gaining firsthand knowledge of production, equipment and customer service. In 2001, he purchased Print Art and began expanding the business beyond traditional offset printing.
As customer needs evolved, the company added digital and large-format printing, specialty finishing, direct mail, marketing, warehousing and fulfillment services. In 2014, Print Art merged with Omega Specialty Products and was rebranded as Omega High-Impact Print Solutions to reflect its expanded capabilities.
Today, Omega provides offset, digital and large-format printing, along with die cutting, foil stamping, laminating, UV coating and bindery services. The company also offers graphic design, signage, vehicle wraps, direct mail, digital marketing, inventory management, kitting and nationwide fulfillment.
Omega remains family-owned. Carl and Lisa Blase are the owners, while their daughter, Paula Heffley, serves as CEO and their son, Carl Blase Jr., is vice president of operations.
Heffley joined the company in 2017 in marketing before becoming chief operating officer. She succeeded her father as CEO in 2024. That same year, Blase Jr. was promoted from production manager to vice president of operations, overseeing production, staffing and equipment.
The siblings now manage the company’s day-to-day operations while continuing the foundation established by their parents.
Omega employs 53 people in Egg Harbor Township and 71 companywide. The business operates five facilities: two in New Jersey, two in Florida and one in Kentucky.
Its Florida operations, led by Carl Sr.’s twin brother, Cliff Blase, senior director of operations, expanded the company’s reach throughout the Southeast. A second Florida facility supports warehousing and fulfillment.
Earlier this year, Omega expanded into Benton, Kentucky, strengthening its ability to serve customers across the central United States. The location features new production equipment, including a VUTEk 32h hybrid printer, Pro 1700-F1 laminator, Apex Plus digital flatbed cutting system and a Polar 92X cutter.
The new Egg Harbor Township warehouse houses the company’s fulfillment, bindery and shipping departments, freeing additional space in the original Delilah Road facility for expanded production and future equipment.
Company leaders said future plans include continued investment in technology and automation, expanding the national customer base, improving efficiency and building a dedicated sales organization while maintaining the family-oriented culture that has defined the business since its beginnings.
From its start in a small Atlantic City garage in 1952 to five facilities across three states, Omega High-Impact Print Solutions has continued to expand while remaining headquartered in South Jersey.
