Applications for the 2026 state arts and history grants are now available through the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, which regranted more than $223,000 to successful local non-profit applicants in 2025 for programs and projects that promote art or history and provide public benefit and accessibility.

To help organizations develop and enhance their funding proposals, a free grant workshop will be offered virtually on August 28, 2025, to assist with certain components of the grant proposal. The workshop is mandatory for all potential applicants. Although 2025 regrantees are not required to attend due to some changes within the new application, attendance is recommended. Registration is required.

To register for the workshop and access the downloadable applications, go to http://www.atlanticcountynj.gov/government/county-departments/department-of-executive-and-administrator/office-of-cultural-and-heritage-affairs/arts-and-history-grant-information.

Grant funding is provided through New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the New Jersey Historical Commission. The deadline for submission of all grant applications is October 10, 2025.
