Bally’s Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting

Celebrate at Bally’s this Thursday for the official ribbon cutting of Carousel Bar, The Yard and Bally’s Legend’s VIP Beach.

Trivia Game Day

Lucy the Elephant’s Reopening

9200 Atlantic Ave. Margate

She’s been under construction for quite some time. However, the lovely landmark will be ready for her close up, and is slated to reopen Memorial Day Weekend. Tours will be offered every 45 minutes and the gift shop will be open. For more information, visit margatehasmore.com.

Somers Point Garden Tour Tickets

The Green Thumb Garden Club of Somers Point invites all to the 2022 Down to Earth Garden Tour on Saturday, June 25th from 10am-3pm. Be inspired visiting private gardens and sites as the club celebrates its 70th Jubilee year. This event is rain or shine. Join Resorts for the countdown to 5pm when 5,000 beach balls drop on the boardwalk kicking off a Hot Summer Fun. WMMR will broadcast live from 10-3, Mayor Marty Small will participate in an Opening of the Sea Ceremony at 1pm, Bicardi Ardi & DJ Billy Reybert will present contests, games and strolling entertainment. And at 5pm, the Beach Ball Drop will commence, with live entertainment on the deck.

Unlocking of the Ocean and Business Persons Plunge

Cruise on down to Smithville and hang out. A car cruise at Historic Smithville is simply a great place to hang out with fellow car enthusiasts. Just drive to the side parking lot of the Village Greene and near the red covered bridge, you will see orange cones set up. Move a cone and park your car.

Cop Chase 5K

6th Street and Boardwalk, Ocean City

The annual Cop Chase 5K is set for Saturday, June 4, and registration is open. The scenic 5-kilometer (3.1 mile) race will start at Sixth Street and Boardwalk, travel down the Boardwalk and on the streets at the northern end of Ocean City, then finish on the Ocean City High School track. Online registration is open at runsignup.com/ocnjcopchase5k. Pre-registration fee is $30 until May 31. After that date and on race day, registration is $35. Students 18 and under $10. All proceeds benefit the Ocean City Police Benevolent Association, which supports scholarships for high school seniors and other community projects.
