Absecon Memorial Day Parade

Memorial Park

The parade will start at the American Legion and travel down New Jersey Avenue, short distance on Shore Road and back down Church Street ending at the Memorial Park for a service.

Atlantic County Veterans Memorial Program

Friday, May 27th at 2pm

Veterans Memorial Park 109 Route 50, Estell Manor

Atlantic County will honor the sacrifice and service of its fallen military veterans during the 37th annual Veterans Memorial Program. The program will feature the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Color Guard, Atlantic County Corrections Officers’ Honor Guard, the Atlantic City Fire Department Sandpipers’ Pipes and Drums, and the presentation of the memorial wreath.

Cape May County Memorial Day Celebration

The public is invited to attend and pay their respects to the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice for the United States while serving their Country. Invited speakers include Cape May County Commissioner Director Gerald M. Thornton, Congressman Jeff Van Drew, State Senator Muchael Testa, Assemblyman Erik Simonsen, Captain Sarah “Kathy” Felger, Commanding Officer, United States Coast Guard Training Center, Cape May.

EHT Memorial Day Parade

9am

Veterans Memorial Park

Mobilized units starting at Diamond Drive, traveling west on Zion Road to N. Mount Airy Avenue, where the marching units will join in. The parade will continue west on Zion Road to Ocean Heights Avenue, and down Ocean Heights to Veterans Memorial Park. If the weather is inclement, the ceremony will be moved to the Egg Harbor Township Community Center, 5045 English Creek Avenue, and the time will change to 10am.

Longport Memorial Day Ceremony

American Legion Post 569 honors members of the military who made the ultimate sacrifice. The parade will begin at 11am at 34st and Ventnor Avenues, traveling south to 26th and Oberon Avenues.

Northfield Memorial Day Ceremony

9:30am

Veterans Park 1913 Oak Ave.

Please join Northfield for their annual Memorial Day Ceremony. Reservations are not required. Please bring a chair if you would like to sit.

Ocean City Memorial Day Service

Somers Point Memorial Day Parade

11am

Shore Rd. and Patriots Park

The parade will begin at Dawes Ave. and Shore Rd. and proceed to City Hall concluding with a ceremony a Patriots Park at Bethel Rd. and First St. Veterans, scouts, military vehicles, antique cars, bands and decorated children’s bicycles are invited to participate. If you are interested, please call Doug Shallcross, Recreation Director, at 609-833-5428. Parade participants must be at staging area at 10am at Dawes Ave. and Shore Rd.

All observances are scheduled for Monday, May 30th unless otherwise noted. Events subject to change.
