Atlantic Cape Community College’s Center for Student Success (CSS) recognized 20 graduating students for their outstanding academic achievement, as well as, faculty and staff members for their unsung dedication this school year during the Annual Graduate Awards Ceremony on May 3 in the Walter E. Edge Theater on the Mays Landing campus.
“Thank you for coming out to support our graduates. It is because of them that we do what we do. Today is for us to acknowledge students who have participated in the Educational Opportunity Fund, the Center for Accessibility, NJ STARS Program, Student Support Services, veterans and military related students,” said Stacey Zacharoff, senior director, Center for Student Success. “It is now our opportunity today to celebrate them and their achievements.”
The ceremony began with graduating students receiving a certificate signifying their academic achievements. Many of those students bestowed upon a college faculty or staff member the Extra Miler Award for going above and beyond to help them succeed along the way.
The following college faculty and staff members were recognized with an Extra Miler Award: Stephanie Natale-Boianelli, Alonna Brown, Mark Camma, Jeanine DiNardo, Matthew Dixon, Dena Ferone, Keith Forrest, Noelle Gaetano, Karina Gonzalez, Jerome Ingram, Lynette Ingram, Dennis Jones, Najah Jones, Raymond Keller, Rashawn Martin, Victor Moreno, Richard Perello, Katie Piontkowski, Susan Van Rossum, Dr. Beth Sanders-Robinowitz, Angela Stewart, Nicole Thompson, Juliana Torres-Santiago and Terrance Witcher.

Receiving the Paula Stewart Davis Award for support staff was Student Services Associate Henry Guzman-Flores, while Professor Stephanie Natale-Boianelli won for faculty. The award is named after Paula Stewart Davis, a former Atlantic Cape retired Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
