Resorts Casino Hotel is proud to announce an Atlantic City premier presentation of the the most celebrated tribute to Prince in the world: Marshall Charloff & Purple xPeRIeNCE.
The one-night-only show takes place on Saturday, September 27, at 8PM in Resorts’ Superstar Theater. As seen fronting the nation’s top symphonies and headlining both Red Rocks Amphitheater and his One-Man Las Vegas residency, Marshall Charloff delivers Prince, unparalleled, with his band of Minneapolis ALL-STAR musicians.

Marshall Charloff & Purple xPeRIeNCE was co-founded in the “Purple Mecca” – Minneapolis – by Marshall and Matt “Doctor” Fink (keyboardist from Prince & The Revolution) in 2011, an era where Prince closely monitored the use of his art. Their vision was to deliver Prince’s music on the highest level, played live and untracked by skilled musicians, while paying respectful visual homage through costuming and likeness.
“There are so many layers and dimensions to his music,” Marshall said about Prince. “I’m not trying to be Prince. As a musician, I get to express my soul through music. I channel his energy and that’s it,” he added.
Marshall has performed worldwide, fronting the finest symphonies in most major cities in North America. His musical journey includes appearing with Prince on the album 94 East, where he played keyboards and bass guitar. He was discovered at a young age by Pepe Willie, who was also instrumental in launching Prince’s career, and this pivotal moment shaped Marshall’s musical path.
Immediately met with success and adoration from discerning Prince devotees, the show is in its 15th year of touring, nationwide and internationally, and has performed for over 1 million fans.
In 2019, they were officially licensed by the Prince Estate, and in 2021, Marshall Charloff & The Purple xPeRIeNCE were selected by the US Department of State to be featured in the USA Pavilion of the World Expo in Dubai. The show continues to hold the unique distinction of playing 100% LIVE and completely untracked, paying true homage to one of the greatest musicians of our time with real musicianship.
