Two honors went to Resorts’ world-class Italian restaurant, Capriccio, as well as Landshark Bar & Grill, the biggest and best beach bar in Atlantic City.
Casino Player Magazine, considered one of the premier industry publications in the world, determines the awards by guest feedback on diverse criteria including guest service and experiences, amenities and other factors.
And — just as our loyal customers would expect — Resorts Casino Hotel delivered in a big way. That couldn’t be exemplified more by Casino Player Magazine naming Resorts Casino Hotel the place where customers will find the Best Overall Service in Atlantic City.
To go with Best Overall Service, Casino Player Magazine also honored the Bar One staff as the Best Bartenders in Atlantic City for the very first time. And, if you are looking for a drink on the casino floor, you won’t find service any better than at Resorts, which also won Best Casino Cocktail Service for the third straight year.

Capriccio, for the fourth straight year, was named Best Italian Restaurant while also claiming Best Romantic Restaurant for the third year in a row. The legendary restaurant, with its gorgeous painted murals, classic design and al fresco dining option overlooking the beach and boardwalk, is often considered the best Italian restaurant in the city … and with good reason. The menu perfectly blends traditional Italian food choices with modern sensibilities and over-the-top gourmet service. Over the years, Capriccio has won a plethora of awards, including top casino restaurant in the country from USA Today.
“I think when people think of Italian food inside an Atlantic City casino, they first think of Capriccio,” Giannantonio added. “The restaurant always exceeds expectations. Even after more than 45 years since it opened, it remains not just relevant, but it still sets the bar for the rest of the city.”
While Capriccio always gets the most attention, Casino Player Magazine honored Resorts for something completely different: sushi! Mukashi Sushi Bar, located right off the boardwalk, received Best Sushi honors for the fourth straight year. Featuring the freshest fish this side of Japan, Mukashi also offers some incredibly creative choices when it comes to rolls, nigiri and other small plates.
Landshark Bar & Grill, the sister operation of Margaritaville, also claimed two top honors for the fourth straight year: Best Outdoor Dining and Best Pool/Beach Bar. No one in the city can come close to the offerings of Landshark, a full-service restaurant and entertainment complex that is the only permanently located beach bar in the city. Casino Player also awarded Resorts Best Pizza for Famiglia Pizza, located inside Quick Bites food court, for the first time; and — for the third year in a row — Best Comedy Club by AC Jokes, which offers amazing comedians year-round.
