Atlantic County Braces For Salami Tsunami

The autumn breeze has turned to a crisp winter wind and with it builds a crescendo that is descending upon the otherwise-tranquil Atlantic County.

That crescendo is the culmination of sweeping momentum that is barreling down the coast and headed for citizens of the shore.

The driving force behind this storm is none other than attorney Steve Salami – otherwise known as the Salami Tsunami.

To know him is to understand him and to understand him is to love him – he is a transparent genuine off-the-cuff, tongue-in-cheek rip roaring ride of a man who is sweeping into south jersey with a strength and force yet unknown to the community.

Born and raised on Staten Island (which he refers to as the “Wrong Island“), this Salami was raised in a home with parents who were residential real estate brokers. His father was an accomplished builder who once built a home for his mother and hosted a birthday party in that home for her only to turn around and sell the home a month later to a higher bidder.

Such a glimpse into this man’s upbringing makes clear that he comes from anything but ordinary circumstances.

With the last name “Salami”, growing up brought with it a special set of challenges. At an early age, the man was forced to make a choice: take offense to the almost-constant mispronunciation of his name or roll with the punches, go with the flow and turn what could be a negative into a power-packed positive.

In that regard, the man is as memorable as the name. Shakespeare once asked “What’s in a name?“, but in reality, at that time there was not a man named “Salami” in existence.

Today, on a day by day basis, the Salami Tsunami is sweeping through the real estate world and has landed directly in the heart of Ocean City, New Jersey broadcasting live every Saturday at 1:00 p.m.on WIBG 10:20 AM & 101.3 FM. This revolutionary, trailblazing, roundbreaking show highlights just the tip of the creative iceberg that is Steve Salami.

For decades (if not centuries), homes have been purchased and sold throughout the world. The practice has been routine, vanilla, matter-of-fact, garden-variety and hum drum, to say the least.

The Salami Tsunami put an end to all of that, twisting through the stuffiness and breathing life into an otherwise mundane process.  His creative vision has debuted an innovative, creative, and industry-changing concept known as “The Closing Table“.

This Salami of ours has removed the conventional real estate closing from the conference room and transported it to the dining room. Yes, this visionary treats his clients to a delicious lunch and a fantastic dining experience while they are closing on the purchase of their home. He often refers to it as “twice the service for half the price”.

This revolutionary concept can be witnessed and experienced at our very own Smithville Inn where Mr. Salami conducts his unique brand of real estate closings on a regular basis while serving delicious meals to his clients, showing them that there is a higher level to which no attorney has ever sought to aspire.

It is on that very level that the Tsunami not only exists, but thrives. Whipping through the state of New Jersey with the force and fury of  one million men, The Salami Tsunami is a sight to berhold. It is at the very same time inviting, engaging yet overwhelming and pleasurably amusing. This whimsical approach to an otherwise outdated process will surely invite imitation throughout the state and perhaps throughout the world.

You are welcome to join the Salami Tsunami every Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. 609-398-1020 and to join in on an experience known as the “Sounds of Salami“.
