Love was in the air on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Atlantic City’s Brighton Park, where couples gathered under the open sky for Marry Me in AC – a one-of-a-kind outdoor group wedding celebration, officiated by Mayor Marty Small, Sr. The event welcomed 22 couples saying “I do” for the very first time, as well as those joyfully renewing their vows.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Brighton Park fountain with a hint of the Atlantic Ocean off in the distance, the event showcased community, commitment, and celebration. With family, friends, and well-wishers surrounding them, couples got to experience a truly memorable day that highlighted Atlantic City’s romance and uniqueness.

Marry Me in AC proved to be more than just a ceremony, it was a shared moment of love and unity, turning Brighton Park into a stage for unforgettable memories. One participating couple was there to renew their vows in the exact same location where they first tied the knot 30 years ago. Following the ceremony, couples had the option to keep the celebration going during a paid reception at the Claridge Hotel with their invited guests. The event was a joint effort by the city’s Vital Statistics Office under the Health and Human Services Department and the Mayor’s Office of Special Events, with help from the city’s Public Information Office, Information Technology Department and the Atlantic City Police Department.
