On Wednesday, November 12, Atlantic City Electric (ACE) officials visited the Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic League (EHT PAL) to celebrate more than $114,000 in energy efficiency incentives provided through its Energy Solutions for Business Program. The funding from Atlantic City Electric covered approximately 75% of the total cost for HVAC and lighting upgrades across the PAL facility’s multiple buildings, including the Area 51 STEM classroom — home to the ENFORCERS, New Jersey’s State Champion robotics team — and the PAL recreation building.
Installed by ACE’s vetted contractor, All-Zone Heating Cooling Electrical, the energy efficiency improvements include new lighting, heat pumps, HVAC controls, split AC units, furnaces, and a tankless water heater. These equipment upgrades are expected to save the nonprofit organization over 47,000 kWh annually, reducing energy costs and improving comfort for youth and staff.

The evening featured a ceremonial check presentation, remarks from community and utility leaders, and a tour showcasing the upgraded equipment. Attendees also had the opportunity to see children and robotics team members using the improved facility.
