On June 12 at approximately 12:25 p.m., police officers responded to the public bathrooms located at 6th Street and the Boardwalk for the report of a recording device found inside one of the bathrooms. Officers met with a subject who reported she found a hidden camera placed inside one of the bathrooms. A subsequent search of all the public bathrooms located on the Boardwalk was conducted. Several additional cameras were found in the public bathrooms at both 10th Street and 11th Street. The incident is being investigated by the Police Department’s Detective Bureau.
As a result of the investigation, a suspect responsible for this incident was identified. On June 20 at approximately 6:20 a.m., detectives from the Ocean City Police Department, detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit of the Philadelphia Police Department, agents with the Department of Homeland Security (HSI-Atlantic City) and a K-9 Unit with the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General executed court-authorized arrest and search warrants at a residence and vehicle in the 4200 block of Glenview Street in Philadelphia, Pa. The suspect was taken into custody at the residence in Philadelphia and remains in Pennsylvania awaiting extradition proceedings.

Endangering the Welfare of Children (Manufacturing Child Pornography) – 2C:24-4 (6 Counts)
