Artwork from the Atlantic County Utilities Authority’s (ACUA) 11th Annual Recycled Art Contest will be featured at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University in Atlantic City from January 8 through February 26, 2026.

The annual contest invites Atlantic County residents to create artwork from trash or recyclable materials. Winners were initially honored at ACUA’s America Recycles Day event in November and will now go on display at the Arts Garage.

“The contest showcases the creativity of our community while bringing attention to the amount of waste we produce,” said ACUA President Matthew DeNafo. “We’re happy to collaborate with the Noyes Arts Garage so this artwork can further inspire the community.”

Submitted artwork includes an octopus made of cardboard and bottle caps, paper butterflies, packaging portraits, a cardboard shark, and a paper recycling truck.

“We are honored to have the recycled art exhibit sponsored by the ACUA this year at the Noyes Arts Garage in Atlantic City,” said Noyes Museum of Art Executive Director Michael Cagno. “The amount of talent that these individuals, especially the kids, put on display by reengineering recycled materials is truly inspirational.”

Residents can enjoy the creative art pieces at the Noyes Arts Garage from January 8 through February 26, 2026. The Arts Garage is located at 2200 Fairmount Avenue in Atlantic City and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A special reception for the exhibit will be held on Saturday, January 10, from 1 to 3 p.m.
