The Atlantic County Utilities Authority’s (ACUA) collection team delivered 12,253 pounds of non-perishable food, diapers, and other donations to Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) in Egg Harbor Township as part of the Authority’s 33rd Annual Holiday Food Drive.
The drive provides a convenient opportunity for residents to donate to those in need on their recycling day. ACUA’s team collected items during a two-week period between December 4 and 15. Since it began in 1991, the drive has collected more than 1 million pounds of donations.
