There are so many flavors associate with Christmas that it’s hard to name them all. From nutmeg and gingerbread to peppermint and hazelnut, Christmas is as much about the festivities as it is about the food. And Christmas cookies are just the half of it. This holiday season, there are better ways to indulge, and a good many of them are at the Jingle Bell Bar at Ocean Casino Resort. The pop-up experience, located at 1927 Lounge — just steps from the casino floor — brings all the holiday opulence to the casino, including nostalgic décor, themed entertainment, and of course, festive cocktails. But get there quick…the magic only lasts until Dec. 31!
Here, five holiday cocktails to start sipping at Jingle Bell Bar today.
- Top Shelf Elf Whether your own holiday elf has been reporting for duty or not, the Top Shelf Elf is a cocktail we all deserve. Made with Grey Goose La Poire (a luxury pear flavored vodka), Bitter Truth Pimento Dram, Apple Cider, Ginger Beer and lemon, this Christmas concoction features a harmonious blend of flavors including the subtle sweetness of pear, the comforting warmth of spices, and the refreshing zing of ginger.
- The Little Drummer Boy Want dessert? The Little Drummer Boy is for you. This treat-like cocktail is a decadent blend of creamy vanilla, indulgent chocolate and a touch of richness. Made with Stoli Vanil, Chocolate Liqueur, White Crème de Cacao, half & half and whipped cream, The Little Drummer Boy is reminiscent of a creamy, dreamy dessert in a glass, perfect for those with a sweet tooth or anyone looking for a delightful after-dinner drink.
- The Grinch He may be a mean one, but his namesake cocktail is not. Made with Malibu Rum, Melon Liqueur, pineapple, sour mix and a red candy heart (three sizes too small), the Grinch embodies a tropical, fruity sensation. The blend of coconut, melon and pineapple creates a bright and refreshing flavor perfect for celebrating the holiday season or any festive occasion, no who’s required!
- Dirty Snowball Another dessert-like concoction, the Dirty Snowball combines the flavors of peanut butter, chocolate and hazelnut — basically, all of our holiday favorites — into one slurp-worthy drink. Made with Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, White Crème de Cacao, Frangelico and half & half, this cocktail delights with a velvety indulgent texture, perfect for those who enjoy the combination of nutty and chocolatey flavors in a cocktail. (And who doesn’t?)
- Poinsettia Margarita Still missing summer? Indulge in a summertime favorite — a classic margarita — with a holiday twist. Made with Epsolon Blanco Tequila, Pomegranate Juice, Triple Sec, Lime Juice, Simple Syrup and topped off with a sugar rim, the Poinsettia Margarita is a holiday take on the classic. Featuring the crispness of tequila infused with the sweet-tart essence of pomegranate and citruses, the Poinsettia Margarita is a vibrant and enticing choice.
