Multi-Platinum rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd are coming to Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City on Friday, February 19 at 8 p.m.

ABOUT LYNYRD SKYNYRD
Lynyrd Skynyrd rocks on with a lineup featuring Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Damon Johnson, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Robbie Harrington, Peter Keys, Carol Chase and Stacey Michelle Plunk. The band’s colorful history will always remain significant, with former members including Ronnie Van Zant, Allen Collins, Steve Gaines, Ed King, Billy Powell, Bob Burns, Leon Wilkeson and Hughie Thomasson having all been integral to different chapters of the band’s story.
Formed in 1964, the multi-platinum rock band from Jacksonville, Fla., spent the bulk of that decade touring under a multitude of names before settling on their famous moniker and releasing their debut album, (Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd), in 1973. The following year, Lynyrd Skynyrd dropped their sophomore followup, the appropriately-titled Second Helping (1974), featuring their signature song “Sweet Home Alabama.” Between that Top 10 hit and fan favorite tracks like “Free Bird,” “Simple Man” and “Tuesday’s Gone,” the band became pioneers of the Southern rock genre.
