Business Buzz
A fast-growing drive-thru beverage chain is continuing its expansion across South Jersey, with Egg Harbor Township among its newest locations.
7 Brew, founded in 2017 in Rogers, Arkansas, has built a business model centered on speed, convenience and customization. Each location operates from a compact, roughly 500-square-foot footprint and is designed exclusively for drive-thru service, with employees taking orders outside vehicles to keep lines moving efficiently.
While coffee remains a core offering — including espresso, cold brew and lattes — the menu extends well beyond traditional café fare. The company features a wide selection of energy drinks, teas, smoothies and milkshakes, along with a limited food menu. Customers can choose from thousands of drink combinations, including popular options such as the Blondie, a caramel and vanilla blend, as well as energy drinks like Tropical Thunder and Sunrise.
The company’s growth has accelerated rapidly in recent years. After operating just 14 locations in 2019, 7 Brew surpassed 500 stores in 2025 and is projected to exceed 600 locations in 2026. The expansion has been supported by private equity investment, including backing from Blackstone.
In New Jersey, development is being led by franchisees Zach and Shunori Rosskamm, who joined the brand in 2023. The husband-and-wife team began opening locations in 2025 and now operate several sites, including Turnersville, Toms River, Rio Grande, Clementon and Sicklerville.
The Egg Harbor Township location, at 6026 Black Horse Pike, is scheduled to open April 13. Additional locations are planned for Hazlet, Clark, Flemington and Philadelphia, with approvals already secured for several other sites across the region.
The brand’s appeal extends beyond coffee, particularly among younger customers drawn to its energy drink offerings and highly customizable menu. Its drive-thru-only format and small footprint also make it well-suited for high-traffic corridors and evolving consumer preferences.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for April 18 at the Egg Harbor Township site, featuring a “Swag Day” promotion in which customers who purchase a large drink will receive a free T-shirt while supplies last.
As expansion continues, 7 Brew is quickly establishing a growing presence across South Jersey, combining speed, variety and a community-focused approach at each new location.
