North Beach Atlantic City, the entertainment district of Atlantic City, will proudly debut its recently restored beaches just in time for summer. In a project completed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Atlantic City beaches, including North Beach shorefront, have been widened with more than 1.2 million cubic yards of sand to expand its seasonal offerings for the summer season ahead.
Along with the new beaches, North Beach will host its annual fireworks show on Friday, June 27, at 9 p.m. Hosted in partnership with Fireworks by Grucci, America’s First Family of Fireworks, the event will be free and open to the public and will feature several viewing locations throughout the north end of the boardwalk, including Steel Pier, Resorts Casino Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, Showboat, and Ocean Casino Resort. Live music, drink specials, and other activations can be found from across the North Beach boardwalk area prior to the fireworks.
Nestled upon these newly restored pristine beaches are the North Beach partners Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, Ocean Casino Resort, Tennessee Avenue restaurants, Resorts Casino & Hotel, Steel Pier, Showboat and the Absecon Lighthouse.
