48 Blocks Atlantic City Needs Your Creativity and Talents
Share your talents and celebrate your community!
Atlantic City is a ready canvas for the diverse community to leave its mark.
Calling all artists, performers, musicians, teachers, students, community members, and local businesses! 48 Blocks AC is the place to share your talents this summer.
For the weekend of June 22-24, 2018, 48 Blocks AC will present creative projects throughout the city to demonstrate that a strong flow of creativity can bring a greater sense of community to its neighborhoods. Atlantic City is a rich, vibrant community with diverse cultures, artistic talents, and creativity.
Joyce Hagen, Executive Director of the Atlantic City Arts Foundation shared, “Atlantic City is a ready canvas for the diverse community to leave its mark. We envision 48 hours full of music, art, participatory events, and more – and we need you to make it possible. The only limit is your imagination.”
Last year over 96 projects filled the city. This year, we will select at least 48 projects to receive funding from the Atlantic City Arts Foundation. ACAF will also assist in securing locations, permissions, and permits for projects. Participants simply need to propose their idea!
