149 anglers tried their luck this last Saturday in the 23th Brutus Fluke Tournament. 36 fish were weighed in from 2.15LB (18.25”) to 6.75LB (25”).
The event is held in memory of Walter “Brute” Gregory, Sr. and hosted by and benefiting the charitable works of
EHT Elks Lodge #2563 & Somers Point American Veterans Post 911.
Adult division winners
1st Place: Harry Cattrill on “C-Phase” 6.75 Lb. – 25.0 inches
2nd Place: Joe Brito 5.38 Lb. – 24.75 inches
Junior category (14 years & under) winner was
Stephen Berge (The grandson of “Deep Water Steve’s Marina” Fame) who’s fish was 2.74 Lb. – 20.0 inches.
