Wine Dinner Series Back by Popular Demand at the Award-Winning Ebbitt Room at The Virginia Hotel
Get a taste of sophistication at America’s Oldest Seaside Resort this spring with the return of The Ebbitt Room’s popular wine dinner series. The award-winning restaurant at The Virginia Hotel in Cape May is giving guests a chance to experience exquisite cuisine, prepared by Executive Chef Jason Hanin, paired with premiere wines in two separate three-course wine pairing dinners carefully curated to delight the palate and embody refined elegance. The first dinner will take place on Thursday, April 4 and the second dinner will take place on Thursday, May 2. Both dinners begin at 6pm and will be held in the venue’s private Richmond Room.
Enjoy date night in one of the most romantic settings in Cape May. For the April pairing dinner, guests will be treated to a Tour de France of wines. Named for the most famous bike race in the world, the dinner will feature a progression of wines from France, coupled with expertly crafted dishes that perfectly complement each wine. In May, guests can experience the Giro d’Italia, an immersive dinner exploring wines from the lesser-known regions of Italy, named after the prominent Italian bike race. Chef Hanin showcases his culinary expertise with his delectable and innovative dishes, using fresh ingredients from the property’s own farm, Beach Plum Farm, located down the road.
