Visit Atlantic City celebrates successful year and promotes 2024 meaningful meetings 2.0 messaging

The organization generated $308,995,103 in economic impact through meetings and events it brought to Atlantic City

Today, Visit Atlantic City hosted its annual meeting alongside destination partners and celebrated a successful year driving visitation to the destination through key meetings and events. Throughout 2023, Visit Atlantic City hosted 206 events, resulting in 556,981 event attendees, 290,147 room nights booked and a total economic impact of $308,995,103. For every $1 invested in Luxury Tax Revenue Visit Atlantic City returns $37 to Atlantic City’s economy.

“We are incredibly thrilled to have met our 2023 strategic goals, resulting in over $300 million in economic impact,” said Larry Sieg, President & CEO of Visit Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Sports Commission. “We couldn’t have done it without our amazing partners who continue to reinvest in Atlantic City and create a destination that is attractive for meeting and event planners. Atlantic City has grown and continues to offer a series of experiences where attendees can meet, connect and play that allows us to continue to be an attractive destination for both planners and leisure travelers.”

Sieg unveiled Visit Atlantic City’s “Meaningful Meetings 2.0” messaging and goals for 2024, which aims to continue to promote Visit Atlantic City’s brand pillars, its dedication to engaging the local community, corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives, and continuing to partner with resort properties and local businesses. In addition, Visit Atlantic City Vice President Gary Musich announced an enhanced “Client Education Series” inclusive of numerous topics including the destination’s sustainability efforts, corporate social responsibility programs, and the newest developments and infrastructures.

To conclude the meeting, Sieg announced that Visit Atlantic City will be working closely in an ongoing initiative with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) to further promote the destination with one cohesive message and voice.
