“Dr. Sonja Elise Freeman ”Queen Diva,” and I are very passionate about presenting our Black History Month International Library Curation 2024 because we are making Black History internationally and nationally via colleges, universities, and community libraries with a music society. We want college students around the world to be introduced to and read books written by Black Americans who created Rhythm and Blues culture. This is just one of many ways to help preserve Black music culture globally. We hope this will spark colleges and universities towards teaching about African American Music Studies as a degree program one day,” says Mr. Perry Thompson, CEO/Founder of the Rhythm and Blues Preservation Society.
