Since the Barack Obama and Joe Biden administration, the already difficult job of police officer has become almost impossible.
Several of the current less-than bumper crop of Democrat candidates for President have continued the practice of this disturbing anti-police tradition.
While officially campaigning for President of the United States, both Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris have falsely fanned the flames of racism and hatred by purposefully saying that Michael Brown was murdered in Ferguson, Missouri by a “White Police Officer.”
Here are the facts:
Michael Brown was not murdered. Then Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson was placed in a death match for his life by Brown. These incontrovertible facts are confirmed by Obama’s Justice Department, then headed by the radical United States Attorney General Eric Holder.
Holder was the most anti-police Attorney General in American history. Despite how hard he tried to flip this script on the Police Officer (Wilson), he couldn’t do it. All of the facts led to Brown being at fault. The Police Officer’s actions were officially deemed to be justifiable.
On August 9, 2019, Kamala Harris tweeted, “Michael Brown’s murder forever changed Ferguson and America. His tragic death sparked a desperately needed conversation and a nationwide movement.” This a blatant lie, and, as a former California state Attorney General, Harris knows this.
The “movement” that Harris was speaking about was predicated upon the bald faced lie, “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot.” This was a blatant falsehood, that never took place. Michael Brown never said that he had his “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot.”
Yet, this big and divisive lie is used by Democrats to this day. It’s on tee shirts, signs at propaganda rallies and elsewhere. Please, let’s make this absolutely clear, “Hands up, Don’t Shoot,” never happened.
Not to be outdone, on the same day as Harris, Warren tweeted: “5 years ago Michael Brown was murdered by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. Michael was unarmed yet he was shot 6 times. I stand with activists and organizers who continue the fight for justice for Michael. We must confront systematic racism and police violence head on.”
This may just be one of the most radical and divisive statements ever made by a United States Senator and candidate for President. It’s an absolute lie. All of the unambiguous facts regarding this case directly contradict what Warren has said.
Like Harris, Warren also knows that what she is saying is a big lie. However, their radical agenda always comes first. The facts never matter.
Cory Booker and Kirsten Gillibrand moderated things a bit and both said that Brown was “killed by a police officer,” instead of “murdered.” But, make no mistake about it, they were implying the very same thing.
The reason that I can write this with confidence is because … what reason would there be to bring up an incident (from August 9, 2014) of a justifiable use of force by a police officer; except that they were looking to fan the flames of division in our country for filthy political gain.
Here is the official determination regarding the Brown-Wilson death match:
The Obama/Holder Justice Department officially concluded that Police Officer Wilson’s actions were “an act of self-defense.”
Further, the Obama administration investigation was conducted by the Criminal Section of the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri, and, by the FBI.
They conclusively and officially determined that “the evidence does not support an indictment of (officer) Darren Wilson. You wouldn’t know this according to the radical Democrats who still promote their false narrative to this day.
Because of unscrupulous Democrat politicians, the justifiable police action instead led to weeks of protests, many of them violent.
When a federal Grand Jury refused to indict Wilson on November 24, 2014, Obama continued to fan the flames of division by stating that “we need to recognize that the situation in Ferguson speaks to broader challenges that we still face as a nation. The fact is, in too many parts of this country, a deep distrust exists between law enforcement and communities of color.”
If Obama was correct about this, and, make no mistake about it … he was not … why did he have to use a blatantly false case to try and make his point?
Obama actually sent three United States government officials to attend the funeral of Michael Ferguson. Obama never reached out to talk with the police officer, Darren Wilson. This was a disgrace.
In the DOJ’s official 86 page report, it is clear that Wilson acted in self-defense:
In Obama’s warped mind, Brown was the hero in this encounter. This is consistent with his entire Presidency. Obama always seemed to take the wrong side.
Despite Obama’s misplaced sympathies for the perpetrator, the official DOJ 86 page report makes it clear that Wilson acted in self-defense.
“The shots Wilson fired were in self-defense and thus were not objectively unreasonable under the Fourth Amendment, which prohibits unreasonable seizures and use of force.” The official report concluded that “Wilson’s actions do not constitute prosecutable violations under the applicable federal criminal civil rights statute, 18 U.S.C. Section 242, which prohibits uses of deadly force that are objectively unreasonable as defined by the United States Supreme Court.”
This makes it perfectly clear. Wilson was right. Brown was wrong. But, you wouldn’t know this by the actions of Obama, Holder, Harris, Warren, Booker, Gillibrand and many other Democrats, who purposely lie about this to promote their political agenda.
The DOJ report states, “Multiple credible witnesses corroborate virtually every material aspect of Wilson’s account and are consistent with the physical evidence.”
My takeaway from this history lesson into the dangers of truth versus fiction, is to report to you that the hyper-negative atmosphere created by Obama has placed the lives of police officers all across America at higher risk to this day. And, it’s getting worse by the day.
Look at the numerous incidents, whereby police officers are having water spit upon them. Look at the recent shootings of six police officers in Philadelphia and the way that certain people outside the shootings were harassing police officers and the media in real time while shots were ringing out.
The atmosphere for police officers has become so bad that this past Friday, August 16, 2019, persons actually staged a “Free Maurice Hill” rally and march on Broad Street. Hill is the man accused of rapidly firing his AR-15 weapon at police officers (in very close quarters), who (all) miraculously were not killed.
