The city paid homage to its first responders at Dougherty’s Steakhouse & Raw Bar on September 22, 2021, to kick off Atlantic City Restaurant Week. The event, dubbed “First Serve First Responders” luncheon, was presented by NJ Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. Mayor Small attended along with other dignitaries to honor the city’s first responders. Each first responder received a certificate of appreciation, a Do AC swag bag including Atlantic City Restaurant Week lunch gift cards, a $25 Tanger Outlet gift card and a Bluetooth Soft Cool Speaker.
Dougherty’s Steakhouse & Raw Bar, located at Resorts Casino Hotel, is one of several new restaurants to the Atlantic City food scene. Other new restaurants include Water Dog AC, Jerry Longo’s Meatballs & Martinis, American Bar & Grille and Sandpiper Coastal Bar & Grill. Water Dog AC, located in Bally’s Hotel & Casino, will offer their famous Maine Lobster Rolls, Poke Bowls, and Eggplant Milanese as just a few of the options for the Atlantic City Restaurant Week menu.
The tradition of culinary excellence continues in Atlantic City and includes Il Mulino, located at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, where you can feast on Italian fare from this OpenTable Winner of the Diners’ Choice. If you’re looking for sports entertainment to accompany your lunch and dinner, FanDuel Sportsbook + Lounge will have seats filled with sports enthusiasts. NFL games will be on the TV screens at FanDuel in Bally’s on October 3, 4 and 7. The city is the place to be Friday night on October 8th with bands and comedians bringing joy and happiness. Rock band 38 Special will be at Ocean Casino Resort, veteran stand-up comedian Dom Irrera performs at Tropicana, pop artist Kim Petras will perform her internationally known singles “Malibu” and “Broken Glass” at Hard Rock’s Sound Waves, Robert Kelly will have you laughing at Celebrity Theater in Claridge (on October 8 and 9), and Philadelphia band, Nothing with Soul Glo and Noun, performs at Anchor Rock Club.
