Stockton Students Donate Robotic Dogs to Seashore Gardens Living Center

The Occupational Therapy students at Stockton University, along with Professor Megan Foti, provided a gift of two robotic dogs for the residents at Seashore Gardens Living Center (SGLC). Robotic dogs have been shown to decrease stress and anxiety in a similar way to their live counterparts.
Professor Foti and her students are regular volunteers at SGLC. They work with residents in Comfort Care, the area of the Home devoted to residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
