For consistently delivering outstanding service and embodying Shore Medical Center’s mission, vision and values, Julie Hardin, RN, BSN, CMSRN, a nurse in its Advanced Spine and Orthopedic Institute (ASOI), has been named Shore’s June Employee of the Month. Hardin has been working for Shore Medical Center since she joined the ASOI team in 2010.
Hardin is a bedside nurse in ASOI who also assumes the role of charge nurse and serves as a preceptor for new nurses. Over the years, Hardin has consistently exemplified loyalty and commitment in service to Shore’s patients. She can always be counted on to do the right thing, and is well liked by her peers and colleagues.
Elaine Toolsie, MSN, RN, CNRN, Nurse Manager of ASOI, says, “Julie brings her best abilities to work to promote positive patient interactions and outcomes, thereby strengthening the nursing profession. She seeks only solutions that will improve patient care and advocacy. Julie is even-tempered and hardworking, with a terrific sense of humor.”
A resident of Cape May Court House, Hardin enjoys reading, gardening, walking on the beach and activities with her children.
