Region’s Largest School Science Fair Back at Stockton on March 16

The region’s largest middle and high school science fair returns to Stockton University for its 49th year on Saturday, March 16.

The annual Jersey Shore Science Fair will take place from 7:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Sports Center. More than 320 students from 34 schools from Atlantic, Cape May, Monmouth and Ocean counties will display 328 projects in 15 categories ranging from biological sciences to engineering to behavioral science. The fair also attracts homeschooled students.

The fair is one of 14 regional fairs that feed into the Delaware Valley Regional Science Fair (DVSF), which is from April 2 to 4 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania.

Six faculty members from Stockton’s School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics will help judge the fair.
