Postcards from the Past

The 59th Street Fishing Pier in Ocean City was built in 1913. Tony’s snack bar operated at the base of the pier until the 1970s. The pier was closed in the 1980s. Storms continued to damage it until hurricane Sandy destroyed it in 2012.
