JFS is pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Mitnick to the position of Volunteer Services Supervisor for Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties.

With more than 20 years of customer service, management, and sales experience, Nancy will lead efforts to recruit, train, and oversee volunteers for key agency services and programs – the pantry, Kosher meal deliveries, food collections, Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore, and fundraising including the Golf Tournament, House Tour, and Card Party.

Additionally, Nancy supervises the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Coordinator Bailey Pokres, who continues to engage volunteers, age 55+, in meaningful opportunities with our agency.

“Nancy recognizes the invaluable role volunteers play in strengthening both JFS and the community. She understands the profound impact of their generosity and the difference their time and dedication make,” said Julia Tracy, JFS’ Associate Director of Communications & Donor Relations.

Before joining JFS, Nancy served as the Customer Service Manager & Director of Special Projects for Island Beach Gear/eOutdoors, Inc. in South Jersey. She also brings career expertise in benefits, real estate, and government liaison roles. In addition, she has extensive volunteer experience with organizations including the Linwood PTO, Mainland Baseball, and Congregation Beth Israel.
