Margate Streets ALIVE with Fall Fun In Margate

Contests, Pet Photos, Treasure Hunts, Retailer Open Air Displays…

The streets of Margate on  Saturday came alive with pumpkin prize pursuers, children and adults alike, eager to celebrate Fall Fun Day seeking the pumpkins filled with coupons and prizes hidden outside of businesses throughout Margate.

Businesses throughout the City were decorated with brilliant flowers, pumpkins and scarecrows while visitors were greeted by strolling characters like Darth Vader, Captain American Minions, Paw Patrol Dog and Princess Poppy Troll.   Music by vocalist Teddi Fusco and guitar playing by Toni Teschire filled the air while the sidewalks were bustling with sidewalk sales.

The laughter and screams of excitement could be heard when people found a prized pumpkin each containing a coupon or gift tag to be redeemed at a Margate Business.  All prizes were donated by Margate businesses.

As people shopped, played golf at Congo Falls, ate at local restaurants and enjoyed the activities, many took pictures in front of decorated venues and submitted them to win a prize in a virtual contest.  Shoppers also took pictures of receipts from any purchase made in Margate and emailed them to info@margatejasmore.com for a chance to win a prize.

The Pet Salon and PhotoGraphics photographer, Ben Howard hosted Pics with Pets, as families posed with their friends for a timeless memory.

The day, produced by the Margate Business Association was a celebration of Fall in Margate with a special thanks to Margate City and the Margate Business.
