Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City to Celebrate Sixth Anniversary by Reinforcing Commitment to Community with Donations to Six Atlantic City Organizations

Additional celebrations include comedian Dave Chappelle at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena, fireworks, and more

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will celebrate its sixth anniversary on June 28, a date officially proclaimed “Hard Rock Day” by Atlantic City officials in 2018. The resort will celebrate the milestone by reinforcing its ongoing commitment to its guests, team members and the Greater Atlantic City community.

“From the outset, the power of the Hard Rock brand combined with the dedication of our team members has propelled Hard Rock Atlantic City into becoming the most successful casino on Atlantic City’s famed Boardwalk,” said George Goldhoff, President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. “Together with our owners, the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and our partners, Jack Morris, Joe Jingoli and Michael Jingoli, we are celebrating by saying ‘thank you’ to our guests, our team members and the Greater Atlantic City community.”

Commitment to Community

Since opening in 2018, Hard Rock Atlantic City has donated millions to over 500 community organizations in Atlantic City and the surrounding Atlantic County area. In celebration of the resort’s sixth anniversary, six local organizations will receive a $6,000 donation. Recipients include Atlantic City Rescue Mission, Jewish Family Services, Covenant House, Hope One, the ARC of Atlantic County and AC Pride, in honor of International Pride Day celebrated on June 28th.

“While music is a part of Hard Rock’s DNA, philanthropy is a part of our soul,” said Goldhoff. “Since opening in 2018, Hard Rock Atlantic City has made intentional efforts to keep our charitable giving local, ensuring the residents of Atlantic City are our number one beneficiary. Today, we are thrilled to announce yet another effort to impact our community as we recognize and celebrate six deserving charities who provide resources to some the most vulnerable and underserved members of our local community.”

On Friday, June 21, team members packed 600 birthday-themed food boxes alongside lookalikes of the world’s most famous musicians for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. A longstanding community partner, when Community FoodBank of New Jersey expressed the need to help food insecure children celebrate birthdays during the summer season, Hard Rock Atlantic City embraced the opportunity to expand their established partnership to support this special project.
