Greater Atlantic City Chamber and Urban Land Institute Host Economic Development Forum at Stockton University

The Greater Atlantic City Chamber and the Urban Land Institute will host a special Economic Development Forum focusing on investment opportunities in Atlantic City on April 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Stockton University’s Atlantic City campus.

This targeted event will showcase Atlantic City’s development potential and highlight key incentive programs available to investors and developers. The Urban Land Institute will open the forum with a comprehensive market analysis of Atlantic City’s evolving landscape and growth potential.

A featured presentation will spotlight the New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s Aspire program, presented by NJEDA representative Dan Jennings. The Aspire program offers substantial incentives for commercial, residential, and mixed-use development projects throughout New Jersey, with special opportunities in Atlantic City.

“Atlantic City represents a tremendous opportunity for strategic investment and development,” said Michael Chait, President of the Greater Atlantic City Chamber. “This forum will connect investors with the resources, incentives, and local insights needed to capitalize on our city’s momentum.”

“Nearly ten years ago, the Urban Land Institute conducted an Advisory Services Panel examining the development potential and hurdles of the South Inlet Neighborhood,” said Kevin Moran, Executive Director, ULI Philadelphia. “We look forward to facilitating a conversation to explore how the market has evolved since that time and new incentives now in place that can help attract the investment required for transformative development across the city.”

“The NJEDA is dedicated to driving transformative economic investment and community development in Atlantic City, providing investors and developers with essential resources— particularly through our suite of real estate programs, including the Aspire Program—to help ensure long-term economic resiliency,” said NJEDA Executive Vice President of Real Estate Development and Programs Dan Jennings. “The NJEDA’s incentive programs are designed to catalyze growth in communities around the state, and Atlantic City offers some particularly

compelling advantages for developers who understand how to leverage these resources effectively.

The event will include a presentation by Dan Davidow, President of Conduit and former Senior Advisor for Economic Development for Governor Murphy. Davidow was instrumental in creating the Aspire program as part of the Economic Recovery Act of 2020 and will share unique insights from both policy development and implementation perspectives. His extensive experience working with executive branch agencies, including NJEDA, NJDOT, NJT, NJDEP, Treasury, and HMFA provides valuable expertise for developers and investors interested in Atlantic City opportunities.

The forum targets developers, financial institutions, investors, and business leaders interested in Atlantic City’s revitalization. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry peers and development experts.

Registration is required, and space is limited. For more information, to sponsor the event, or to register, visit www.acchamber.com or contact (609) 345-4524 at info@acchamber.com.
