| The Eatery, due to open in late March, continues to welcome & support local AC artists Atlantic City, NJ (February 21, 2023) — Legendary Philadelphia eatery Good Dog Bar, in anticipation of their March 2023 opening in Atlantic City,continues to support the resort’s local art community with the addition of a third public mural project. The 6 x 10-foot tile art installation from MudGirls Studios, which will appear opposite the first-floor bar, is the third mural to go up at Good Dog Bar. Last summer, an exterior mural of civil rights icons was painted by BK Foxx and Claudio Picasso on the east side of the building, and this winter, a large-scale mural of dogs in the surf was painted by local artist Heather Deegan Hires on the west side. MudGirls Studios, a nonprofit clay studio founded by Dorrie Papademetriou in 2016 to give women an opportunity to work in clay while earning an hourly wage, is installing a 6 x 10-foot tile mural of dog silhouettes inside Good Dog Bar. ____________________________________________________________ |
