Faculty and Student Exhibit at Ocean City Arts Center

The Gallery at the Ocean City Arts Center presents the Ocean City Arts Center’s Student and Faculty Exhibit celebrating the work of the Arts Center’s teaching artists and their students.  It is always exciting to see what everyone has been working on during the past year.  The show opens February 1st and runs through March 1st.  A “Meet the Artists’ reception will be held on Friday, February 9th from 7pm to 8:30pm. The Gallery is located in the Ocean City Arts Center, 1735 Simpson Avenue, 2nd Floor, Ocean City, NJ.

The exhibition highlights the work of current students and Ocean City Arts Center’s talented teaching faculty. The goal of the exhibit is to showcase the progress and dedication to creative learning by members of our faculty and their student artists. The only stipulations for submission is that the work must have been made as part of the Arts Center’s educational programming and cannot have been shown in an exhibit in Ocean City previously. This exhibit includes two dimensional work from over thirty different artists. Among the participating artists are:

Aren Alfaro, Mary Beth Alvare, Gail Beckley (faculty), Robin Brown, Nancy Bilderback, Carol Casano, Merryl Cool, Donna Davis, Kathy Geary, Maureen Gordon, Mary Jane Green, Carole Griffiths, Michaeline Gutman, Cherie Hanscomb,  Alisa Harris, Nancy Harris, Courtney Herlihy, Susan Irland (faculty), Theresa Kennish, Kokona “Cookie” Kouzoukas, Maggie Ludgate, Carla Migliachio, Ginny Mulford, Ruthann Meyer, Eileen Prince, Barb Pistoia, Susan Rau (faculty), Kira Rizzuto, Bobby Rosin (faculty),  Linda Ryan, Patti Smith, Roseann Smith, Sue Strater, Eileen Stone and Kate White.

Again, the show runs from February 1st through March 1st.  The Ocean City Arts Center is located on the second floor in the Community Center at 1735 Simpson Avenue, Ocean City, New Jersey 08226. Hours of operation are 9am to 9pm, Monday through Friday and 9am to 3pm on Saturday.
