The cast and crew of Egg Harbor Township High School is preparing to bring two classic murder mysteries to the stage with Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express and Murder on the Nile. Performances take place at the school’s Performing Arts Center from Thursday, November 30, through Sunday, December 3. Show times are 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. The dramas are comprised of nearly 80 students in the cast and crew.
Director Matthew Guenther, who also teaches German at Egg Harbor Township High School, says he is excited to bring Agatha Christie productions to the stage. “Who don’t like a good whodunnit? With the recent popularity of murder mysteries and crime shows, we bring you the Queen of Crime.”
Featured actors include Adarsh Chauhan as Detective Hercule Poirot, and Isabella Dioguardo as Jacqueline de Severac.
The production team members are Director Matt Guenther, Technical Director Kevin McCafferty, Costumer Leslie Volpe, Producer Jason Kristeller, and Sound Specialist Jim Bates.
