Get ready to rock and roll! The talented students of Egg Harbor Township High School are thrilled to present All Shook Up, the electrifying school edition of the hit Broadway musical inspired by the music of Elvis Presley. This high-energy show is set to hit the stage at the school’s Performing Arts Center from March 14-March 16.
All Shook Up transports audiences to a small town in the 1950s, where love, music, and dance are about to break down every barrier. With the arrival of a mysterious, guitar-playing rebel, the town is turned upside down, leading to a heart-thumping mix of romance, comedy, and unforgettable rock ‘n’ roll numbers.
Featuring classic Elvis Presley hits like “Jailhouse Rock,” “Hound Dog,” “Burning Love,” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” All Shook Up is a celebration of love and the power of music to change lives. The show includes an ensemble of talented actors, singers, and dancers who bring the story’s characters to life with energy and charisma.
“This is more than a jukebox musical. It’s based on real classic literature that is taught in high schools. It has provided excellent opportunities for all of our students to shine backstage and on stage,” says Director Matthew Guenther, who has worked with the students to bring the show to the stage.
The cast, crew, and orchestra consist of over 90 Egg Harbor Township High School students. Several of the roles are double-cast due to the large number of students involved in the show. Featured actors include Ethan Forman as Chad, Ruben Espinal as Dennis, and Jeffrey Taylor as Dean Hyde. Adriana Allen and Gabriela Perez Rivas share the role of Natalie. Bryce Lake and Abraham play Jim Haller. Sierra Tolbert and Anna Adamchak portray Sylvia. The role of Lorraine is played by Brooklynn Conley and Sara LoCasale. Mayor Matilda Hyde is portrayed by Jadyn Buccilli and Vittoria Marcato. Satya Byers and Isabella Ciurlino share the role of Miss Sandra. The production Stage Managers are Caroline Bruno, Rachel Espinal, and Carter K. Chew.
