DJD Helps Local Student Author Distribute Books to Area Schools

After winning a publishing contract, completing her novel, and designing the book cover, Northfield Elementary School student Gabriella Nistico is working to help inspire young readers and student authors. With the help of the D’Arcy Johnson Day law firm, Gabriella is providing 100 books to local schools for distribution to students. On Thursday, December 14, at 4 pm, Gabriella will meet the partners of DJD at 3120 Fire Road, Suite 100, Egg Harbor Township, to thank the firm for its sponsorship.
“We were quite impressed when we heard about Gabriella’s accomplishments, and even more impressed when we learned that she wanted to use her work to encourage other young readers and authors,” said DJD partner Steven Johnson. “We were happy to help bring her story to students who might not otherwise have an opportunity to read it.”Published through ReadyAimWrite Kids LLC, Gabriella’s book, Lily and the Vampire, tells the story of a nine-year-old girl who faces her biggest fear after moving to a new home. The book is available for purchase at kidswritestories.net.
