Fall in Love with these seasonal drinks

The season is upon us to wear plaid, wrap up in a fleece blanket and get cozy by the fire!  Here are some of our favorite cocktails that will warm you up this fall.

 

Ebbitt Room at Virginia Hotel, Cape May

 

Autumn Fizz

2 oz Alibi Gin

0.25 oz lemon juice

agave nectar

Sparkling apple cider

Garnished with Thyme and apple

Pour gin in shaker, Add lemon juice and agave nectar, shake and then pour into a high ball glass and top with sparkling cider.  Garnish with fresh thyme and an apple slice.

Makers You Warm

1.5 oz Maker’s Mark

1.5 oz Frangelico

1/2 oz Baileys

Combine liquor in a mug and fill remainder with fresh brewed, hot coffee.  Top with whipped cream.

 

Brown Room at Congress Hall, Cape May

Pumpkin Spice Martini

2 oz Absolut Vanilla

1 oz Baileys Pumpkin spice

½ oz Kalua

1/2 oz fresh espresso brew

Glassware: martini glass

Add all ingredients into cocktail shaker and then add ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain cocktail into a martini glass lined with a chocolate swirl.

 

RUSTY NAIL, CAPE MAY

Fireside Chat

2 oz Old Grand-Dad bourbon

.5 oz lemon juice

.5 oz maple syrup

1 dash Angostura bitters

Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice, shake and strain over rocks.  Serve without a garnish.

 

MCCULLOUGH’S, EGG HARBOR TWP

Aspen Martini

In a shaker of ice pour

1.5 oz Rumchata

1.5 oz vanilla vodka

1 oz Butterscotch Liqueur

Pour Rumchata, Vanilla vodka, and Butterscotch liqueur in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously.  Pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
