Jerry Longo’s Meatballs and Martinis will open on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, to celebrate International Women’s Day.
International Women’s Day is a United Nations-sanctioned global holiday. It celebrates women’s contributions to society, raises awareness about the fight for gender parity, and inspires support for organizations that help women globally. Guests will enjoy a special International Women’s Day Menu featuring antipasto, spaghetti and meatballs, salmon Romano, Tiramisu, and live entertainment.
As we celebrate International Women’s Day, Jerry Longo would like to honor the women of his family who inspired him to carry out his families’ traditions and recipes. The roots from Rome and South Philadelphia from his mother and both Grandmothers have contributed immensely in building the Longo Brand. Jerry Longo’s Meatballs and Martini’s success stems from Jerry’s love and passion for food and his meatballs are recognized as one of the best by La Cucina Magazine and recognized on the Oprah Winfrey show by award-winning actor Richard Jenkins who regularly visits his establishments.
