Caesars Entertainment’s AC Resorts present Covenant House with a $15,000 Donation to Aide Youth Facing Homelessness

Atlantic City, NJ (June 10, 2022) — Leadership from Caesars Entertainment’s Atlantic City resorts, including Caesars, Tropicana, and Harrah’s Resort, presented Covenant House New Jersey’s Atlantic City Shelter with a $15,000 donation on behalf of The Caesars Foundation.

We are grateful to have an opportunity to support Covenant House in their mission to end homelessness among young people in our area. This donation will allow the Atlantic City site to continue providing a safe place and resources for hundreds of individuals in our community,” said Joe Lodise, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Caesars Atlantic City.

Covenant House provides housing and safety to those ages 18-21 at risk of homelessness and human trafficking nationwide in over 31 states and internationally. Covenant House New Jersey, including their Atlantic City location, works to assist homeless youth through a variety of services to ensure security during transitional housing, explore employment opportunities, aid struggles with substance abuse, medical and mental health crises, and deliver assistance during other at-risk situations. These services, as well as meals and shelter, are free to those in need of them and serve hundreds of youths across South Jersey.

Covenant House New Jersey’s Atlantic City site is blessed to receive this generous gift from the Caesars Foundation, which will support the immediate needs, such as shelter, food, and clothing, that we provide to hundreds of youths facing homelessness who walk through our doors each year. We are proud to serve the community together with Caesars and are thankful for their abundant support,” said Jen Williams, Senior Development Director, Covenant House New Jersey.

The donation come at the heels of the company’s recently announced $400 million capital investment plan for its Atlantic City resorts over the next three years, which will revitalize Atlantic City and help lead the market’s recovery effort.
