ShopRite and Acer America honored 15 members of the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City at the 2024 ShopRite LPGA Classic at Seaview, A Dolce Hotel. The students submitted award-winning essays during the annual essay competition held in conjunction with the event, which is presented by Acer.
“We are immensely proud of our students for their exceptional achievements in this competition,” said Dr. Charles A. Wallace II, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. “This recognition not only celebrates their hard work and creativity but also highlights the vital role of community support in nurturing our future leaders. We are grateful to ShopRite and Acer America for their continued commitment to empowering our youth and providing them with opportunities to thrive.”
There were four winners of the 2024 ShopRite Essay Competition:
- 1st Place: Britney G., Chelsea Center
- 2nd Place: Seyanni G., Teen Center
- 3rd Place: Alexander L., Chelsea Center
- 4th Place: Samad S., Teen Center
The top finishers received Acer laptops. All participants were given $100 ShopRite gift cards.
The awards presentation, held during the ShopRite LPGA Classic, included lunch and a putting lesson with LPGA players.
