Beth Rubino and Detective Jennifer Elias to be recognized at Salute to Working Women Luncheon

The Ocean City Chamber of Commerce announces Beth Rubine as their guest speaker and Detective Jennifer Elias as the Community Service Award Recipient for the upcoming Salute to Working Women Luncheon, to be held on April 24th at the Ocean City Yacht Club. This event will celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in the workforce, providing attendees with the opportunity to hear from these esteemed industry leaders.

Beth Rubino, former Chief People Officer for QVC, Inc., will take the podium to share her wealth of experience and expertise. In her role, Rubino played a pivotal role in shaping global human resources strategies and overseeing various operational functions. She holds a B.A. in Business from Ursinus College, an M.A. in Organizational Development and Training from St. Joseph’s University, and a certificate from the Executive Development Program at the Harvard Business School.

“We are honored to have Beth Rubino join us as our guest speaker for the Salute to Working Women Luncheon,” said Michele Gillian, Executive Director of the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce. “Her vast experience and leadership in the corporate world will undoubtedly inspire and empower our attendees as they continue to make strides in their own professional journey.”

In addition to Rubino’s keynote address, Detective Jennifer Elias will be recognized as the recipient of the Salute to Working Women Community Service Award. Detective Elias has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to serving the community, particularly the youth of Ocean City, as a mentor and advocate.

The Salute to Working Women Luncheon will honor Melissa Brown as the 2024 “Salute to Working Women” award recipient for her outstanding contributions to the her community and the business community.
